The Department of Medical Education at Creighton University School of Medicine, Phoenix Campus invites applications for a full-time, 12-month, tenure-track faculty position at the Rank of Assistant or Associate Professor of Pharmacology. The successful candidate will be expected to teach pharmacology curricular content to first- and second-year medical students within the MD program, as well as to students in the Physician Assistant program. Teaching responsibilities will include delivering integrated pharmacology instruction through lectures, small-group learning sessions, case-based discussions, team-based learning modalities, and others that support student achievement and clinical application of foundational pharmacologic principles. We seek creative, innovative educators to join our collaborative team. Candidates are expected to have earned a terminal degree in pharmacology or a related field, possess a strong record of excellence in teaching, and demonstrate teaching experience that incorporates different methods such as team-based learning, case-based learning, and problem-based learning. A background in the use of technology in teaching as well as curriculum development is preferred. The successful candidate will have unique opportunities to serve in significant leadership roles while contributing to innovative curriculum development, student mentorship, faculty collaboration, and the expansion of clinical and research partnerships throughout the Phoenix healthcare community.
