About The Position

This role involves conducting comprehensive patient assessments, documenting encounters, advising on preventative care, and ensuring the quality of diagnostic tests. The Medical Doctor will analyze and interpret various test results, refer patients for further testing, and act as a liaison between clinics and physicians. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Doctoral degree (M. D., Doctor of Medicine or D.O., Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine)
Must be board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Family Medicine, the American Board of Internal Medicine or the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
Adult and Geriatric patient population experience
Excellent judgment and discretion, ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, and meet deadlines
Detail oriented while maintaining a positive attitude
Strong clinical skills with the ability to assess a wide range of medical conditions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of diagnostic equipment and procedures
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examination, and interpretation of diagnostic tests
Accurately document patient encounters, progress notes, and other relevant information in electronic medical records or other documentation systems.
Advising patients on preventative care and optimal health practices
Ensure quality of tests being performed
Analyze and interpret test results i.e. pft, chest x-rays, abi’s, EKGs, etc...
Refer patients for further diagnostic testing as needed
Relay information between clinics and physicians as needed
Other duties as assigned
