About The Position
The Medical Director will provide comprehensive outpatient HIV primary care, diagnosing and managing HIV/AIDS and primary care conditions. This role involves clinical leadership within an Outpatient HIV Primary Care Clinic serving adults, including the LGBTQ community and individuals living with HIV/AIDS. The position requires participation in a shared call schedule and collaboration with multidisciplinary clinical teams, delivering compassionate care to underserved populations.
Requirements
- Active California MD/DO License
- Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Adult Gerontology, or Infectious Disease specialty
- Valid DEA License and Furnishing License
- Current CPR/BLS
- Prior outpatient HIV/AIDS diagnosis and treatment experience
- Comfortable seeing 15–18 patients per day
Nice To Haves
- AAHIVM Certification required within 18 months of hire
