About The Position

Progressive Community Health Centers is seeking a full-time Medical Director in Milwaukee, WI. Founded in 1999, Progressive Community Health Centers is an independent non-profit organization operating four clinic locations in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with over 100 employees dedicated to improving community health and quality of life through culturally competent services. They serve approximately 16,000 patients annually, with a majority being low-income, and never turn patients away based on insurance or ability to pay. The organization emphasizes a patient-centered philosophy and offers a wide range of services including family medicine, internal medicine, women's health, urgent care, dental, radiology, integrated behavioral health, case management, health education, and benefits enrollment.

Requirements

Doctoral degree (MD or DO) from an accredited university with completion of residency programming
Board certified in Medical Specialty
Current Wisconsin licensure and DEA license
Must be vaccinated against influenza and provide proof of vaccination prior to orientation.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience with program development and creation of clinical pathways to promote whole person health within the primary care environment
Five to ten years of clinical experience including ambulatory care
Three to five years of leadership experience
Prior work experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center with a diverse patient population
