About The Position

Tia is seeking a Medical Director (MD/DO) to lead their Silver Lake clinic. This is a patient-facing leadership role where the Medical Director will spend approximately 95% of their time in direct clinical care, leading by example. The role involves partnering with operations to mentor the team, champion clinical excellence, and shape a world-class experience for both patients and providers. The Medical Director will also be involved in clinic operations and development (5% of time), driving team performance, optimizing the patient and staff experience, implementing clinical improvements, and supporting the onboarding and mentorship of new providers.

Requirements

  • MD/DO; Board Certified in FM, IM, or OB/GYN
  • Active CA License and DEA
  • 3+ years in outpatient primary care with a focus on Women’s Health (routine gyn, contraception, STIs), Mental Health, and inclusive, patient-centered care.
  • 1+ years leading clinicians (direct or indirect)
  • Proven ability to coach teams, hold staff accountable, and perform peer reviews.
  • Data-driven and adaptable; comfortable collaborating with Operations to balance clinical quality with workflow efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based patient care, setting the clinical standard for the team and acting as a model for Tia’s care philosophy.
  • Own clinical outcomes and documentation consistency within the clinic, ensuring the team delivers high-touch and high-quality care.
  • Act as the clinical point person for complex patient cases or team issues, utilizing sound judgment and professionalism to resolve challenges in real-time.
  • Partner closely with operations to lead and develop a high-performing provider team, driving engagement, accountability, and a shared commitment to excellence.
  • Collaborate on operational workflows to ensure a seamless, "stronger-together" experience for both patients and the clinical staff.
  • Use data-driven insights and patient feedback to identify clinical gaps and implement improvements that elevate the standard of care at Silver Lake.
  • Support the onboarding and ongoing mentorship of new providers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
