About The Position

Crossroads Treatment Centers is seeking a part-time Medical Director to join our team. Since 2005, Crossroads has been a leader in treating patients with opioid use disorder, providing accessible, high-quality, evidence-based medication-assisted treatment (MAT). Our comprehensive approach is the gold standard in care for opioid use disorder, proven to prevent overdose deaths and foster long-term recovery. We are dedicated to expanding critical services across the U.S., improving access to treatment for over 26,500 patients. Our clinics are outpatient and office-based, located in multiple states including Georgia, Kentucky, New Jersey, North and South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. Requirements

• Active and clear licensure to practice medicine in the state(s) in which patient care will be provided.
• DEA Certificate of Registration in the state of practice with ability to schedule 2, 2N, 3, 4, & 5
• Must have active Medicaid and Medicare credential.
• Board certified in primary specialty in one of the following: Family Practice/Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, General Practice, Psychiatry
• May be required to do 12 hours of training in narcotic-addiction treatment upon being offered the position.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with opioid use disorder in our outpatient clinic settings
• Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments as indicated by patient assessment
• Complete medical documentation per Crossroads standards
• Collaborate with clinic staff to provide holistic care to patients, including referrals to other medical providers and community services
• Provide injections if needed
• APP collaboration
