About The Position

Crossroads Treatment Centers is seeking a Part-Time Medical Director for its LaGrange location. Since 2005, Crossroads has been a leader in treating patients with opioid use disorder, offering accessible, high-quality, evidence-based medication-assisted treatment (MAT). This approach is the gold standard in care, proven to reduce overdose deaths and promote long-term recovery. Crossroads operates outpatient, office-based clinics across multiple states, serving over 26,500 patients. Requirements

Active and clear licensure to practice medicine in the state(s) where patient care will be provided.
DEA Certificate of Registration in the state of practice with the ability to schedule controlled substances (Schedules 2, 2N, 3, 4, & 5).
Active Medicaid and Medicare credential.
Board certified in primary specialty in one of the following: Family Practice/Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, General Practice, Psychiatry.
May be required to complete 12 hours of training in narcotic-addiction treatment upon job offer.
Experience in Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is ideal.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and manage patients with opioid use disorder in outpatient clinic settings.
Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments based on patient assessment.
Complete medical documentation according to Crossroads standards.
Collaborate with clinic staff to provide holistic patient care, including referrals to other medical providers and community services.
Provide injections if needed.
Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
