About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Site Medical Director to join their team at West Tennessee State Penitentiary in Henning, Tennessee. The Medical Director will provide clinical direction for service delivery, direct patient care, and clinical supervision of medical staff. This role collaborates with the Health Services Administrator (HSA) to ensure efficient and appropriate medical services and participates in committees such as Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics.
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Active, unrestricted TN license
- Active, unrestricted DEA
- Ability to pass credentialing and background check

- Leadership/directorship experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical direction to meet service delivery requirements.
- Direct clinical services for patients.
- Provide clinical supervision for medical staff at the assigned site.
- Collaborate with the Health Services Administrator (HSA) to ensure efficient and clinically appropriate medical services.
- Participate in committees such as Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics as requested.
