About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Director to provide comprehensive outpatient HIV primary care to adults, including the LGBTQ community and individuals living with HIV/AIDS. This permanent, full-time position involves clinical leadership, direct patient care (15-18 patients per day), and participation in a shared call schedule. The role is based in a 100% outpatient clinic in North Las Vegas, Nevada, with a focus on HIV and LGBTQ Health research. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including a Practice Manager, Medical Assistants, and Registered Nurses.
Requirements
- Active California MD/DO License
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Adult Gerontology, or Infectious Disease
- Valid DEA License and Furnishing License
- Current CPR/BLS
- Prior outpatient HIV/AIDS diagnosis and treatment experience
- Comfortable seeing 15–18 patients per day
Nice To Haves
- AAHIVM Certification required within 18 months of hire
