Veterinarian (Medical Director)
About The Position
Bellevue Animal Clinic is seeking a Medical Director to help shape the future of their practice in Little Rock, Arkansas. As an AAHA-accredited, full-service small animal hospital, they have proudly served pets and their families with compassionate, comprehensive care for years. The veterinary hospital offers a wide range of services including preventative care, surgery, dentistry, diagnostic imaging, ultrasound, therapeutic laser treatment, boarding, grooming, and more. As Medical Director, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on both patient care and hospital growth while partnering with a collaborative team that is passionate about veterinary medicine.
Requirements
- DVM or equivalent degree
- Active Arkansas veterinary license (or ability to obtain)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Passion for mentorship and team development
- Commitment to exceptional client service and patient care
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree or equivalent from an accredited university
- Active Veterinary State License (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Current DEA License (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- USDA Accreditation (or ability to obtain upon hire)
Nice To Haves
- Previous leadership experience is a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of veterinarians and support staff
- Promote medical excellence and high-quality patient care
- Partner with hospital leadership to support growth and operational success
- Help establish and maintain medical protocols and best practices

- Continue practicing veterinary medicine and building client relationships
