About The Position

MedVet is seeking a strong Medical Director to help lead and shape the future of our Jupiter hospital. This position offers a unique blend of leadership and clinical responsibilities, with approximately 50% of time dedicated to serving as Medical Director and 50% dedicated to clinical practice. The Medical Director serves as the local medical leader, overseeing all specialty and emergency doctors while fostering a culture that supports engaged and empowered caregivers who embody MedVet's core values of Teamwork, Leadership, and Compassion. The MD partners with the Hospital Director to evaluate, plan, and implement best-in-class healthcare delivery in support of our mission: Leading Specialty Healthcare for Pets. Together, the dyad leadership team provides strategic direction, promotes diversity of thought, and supports both operational and medical excellence.

Requirements

Strong leadership skills.
Ability to foster a culture of teamwork, leadership, and compassion.
Proficiency in evaluating, planning, and implementing healthcare delivery.
Capacity to provide strategic direction and support operational and medical excellence.
Willingness to dedicate 50% of time to clinical practice.
