About The Position

Tia is seeking a Medical Director (MD/DO) to lead their West Hollywood clinic. This is a patient-facing leadership role where the Medical Director will partner with operations to mentor their team, champion clinical excellence, and shape a world-class experience for both patients and providers. The role involves approximately 95% direct clinical care and 5% clinic operations and development. The Medical Director will lead by example, provide high-quality patient care, manage clinical outcomes and documentation, act as the clinical point person for complex cases, lead and develop the provider team, optimize patient and staff experience, implement improvements, and support the onboarding and mentorship of new providers.

Requirements

  • MD/DO; Board Certified in FM, IM, or OB/GYN; Active CA License and DEA.
  • 3+ years in outpatient primary care with a focus on Women’s Health (routine gyn, contraception, STIs), Mental Health, and inclusive, patient-centered care.
  • 1+ years leading clinicians (direct or indirect); proven ability to coach teams, hold staff accountable, and perform peer reviews.
  • Data-driven and adaptable; comfortable collaborating with Operations to balance clinical quality with workflow efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based patient care, setting the clinical standard for your team and acting as a model for Tia’s care philosophy.
  • Own clinical outcomes and documentation consistency within your clinic, ensuring your team delivers care that is both high-touch and high-quality.
  • Act as the clinical point person for complex patient cases or team issues, utilizing sound judgment and professionalism to resolve challenges in real-time.
  • Partner closely with operations to lead and develop a high-performing provider team, driving engagement, accountability, and a shared commitment to excellence.
  • Collaborate on operational workflows to ensure a seamless, "stronger-together" experience for both patients and the clinical staff.
  • Use data-driven insights and patient feedback to identify clinical gaps and implement improvements that elevate the standard of care.
  • Support the onboarding and ongoing mentorship of new providers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
