About The Position
Aloha Animal Medical Center is seeking an experienced Medical Director Veterinarian to lead our growing small animal practice in Aloha, Oregon. This is an exciting opportunity for a veterinarian who is passionate about high-quality medicine, mentorship, team development, and helping shape the future of a thriving veterinary hospital. As Medical Director, you'll partner with an experienced team while helping guide our continued growth and expansion. We are an established small animal practice serving the community since 1988, currently expanding and investing in future growth. This leadership opportunity comes with strong support from hospital leadership, two experienced associate veterinarians, a dedicated Hospital Manager, two Certified Veterinary Technicians (CVTs), and long-tenured support staff, many with 5+ years of service. We have a strong focus on preventive medicine and client education, fostering a collaborative, supportive culture.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college of veterinary medicine, or equivalent certification for international graduates
- Successful completion of the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE)
- Active Oregon veterinary license in good standing, or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date
Nice To Haves
- Experience utilizing digital radiography, dental radiography, and in-house diagnostics
- Experience in small animal general practice, urgent care, or companion animal medicine
- Previous leadership experience or a strong interest in veterinary leadership
- Strong communication, mentorship, and team-building skills
- Commitment to high-quality medicine and client service
