About The Position

Tualatin Animal Clinic is seeking a Medical Director Veterinarian to lead our dedicated team in Tualatin, Oregon. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced veterinarian who is passionate about practicing high-quality medicine, mentoring associates, and helping shape the future of a thriving full-service animal hospital. As Medical Director, you'll have the opportunity to guide medical standards, support team development, foster client relationships, and influence the continued growth of a respected community practice—all while maintaining the medical freedom to practice the way you believe is best for your patients.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college of veterinary medicine, or equivalent certification for international graduates
  • Successful completion of the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE)
  • Active Oregon veterinary license in good standing, or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date

Nice To Haves

  • Experience utilizing digital radiography, dental radiography, and in-house diagnostics
  • Experience in small animal general practice, urgent care, or companion animal medicine
  • Previous leadership experience or a strong interest in veterinary leadership
  • Strong communication, mentorship, and team-building skills
  • Commitment to high-quality medicine and client service
