About The Position
Somnia Anesthesia, a physician-owned and clinician-led anesthesia group, is seeking a Medical Director to lead our team at TidalHealth Surgery Center in Salisbury, MD. The role involves leading the team, managing a site with 2 rooms, operating hours from 7 am to 3 pm Monday - Friday, with no nights, weekends, or call. The center handles approximately 5-8 cases per day, including T&A, cataracts, face/body cosmetics, uterine surgery, ENT, and healthy pediatrics.
Requirements
- Active MD license
- Board Certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- BLS certification
- Leadership experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead the anesthesia team at TidalHealth Surgery Center.
- Manage the operations of a surgery center with 2 rooms.
- Provide anesthesia services for cases including T&A, cataracts, face/body cosmetics, uterine surgery, ENT, and healthy pediatrics.
