Role Summary Our Medical Assistants engage with our patients day-in and out and they are vital to the patient experience. They are caring, compassionate, and work well together as a team. They work closely with our Physicians to provide exceptional patient care. Some day to day duties include: Direct Patient care Prioritize and triage patient flow in OR Assists physician with all procedures, including embryo transfers, in the OR and Post Op, if needed Performs phlebotomy Maintains Operating Room/ASC Prepares operating room for procedures Disinfects and cleans OR between patients and at end of the day Completion of daily cleaning and supply ordering/inventory checklists Autoclaves with an acceptable sterile technique Keeps logs updated daily as per guideline requirement Ensures all opening and closing protocols are executed effectively Assists nurses with tasks regarding additional OR needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Certified Medical Assistant Certification preferred
  • Current BLS Certification
  • CPT1 certification

Responsibilities
