The Medical Director of Urgent Care will provide strategic leadership and oversight for all aspects of urgent care, including clinical services and supervision of Advanced Practice Providers. This physician leader will be responsible for clinical quality, operations, and staff development, ensuring high-quality patient care and a strong community reputation. The role involves collaboration with leadership to foster an inclusive, high-performing culture. The position requires developing and supporting medical staff performance and growth, meeting quality, financial, and patient satisfaction goals, leading department operations, resource allocation, and new initiatives, and supporting physician recruitment and hiring. The time allocation is 80% clinical and 20% nonclinical administrative time and supervision of APPs. Reporting involves regular meetings with the leadership team.
