About The Position

As a Medical Device Driver, you are responsible for distributing and delivering products and services for company representatives and customers. The role includes preparing, shipping, receiving, and scheduling deliveries; ensuring timely delivery and pickup or return of loaner sets; arranging merchandise for transport and at customer locations; and providing customer service during transportation. You also maintain the delivery vehicle and accurate inventory records.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a good driving record and no restrictions.
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Warehouse, inventory control, logistics, and/or medical device experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of relevant work experience.
Driver or courier experience in a customer-facing environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare, ship, receive, and schedule delivery of products, ensuring timely delivery and pickup or return of loaner sets.
Address customer inquiries and direct them to appropriate branch personnel.
Arrange merchandise for transport and at customer locations; read maps and route configurations to make deliveries efficiently.
Perform safety inspections in transportation settings and ensure materials are properly loaded, unloaded, and stacked.
Create or review delivery and pickup lists, and record transactions and issues on customer receipts.
Provide customer service during transportation, field customer complaints, and communicate with branch team members as needed.
Perform or schedule preventative and minor maintenance on the company delivery vehicle and maintain accurate records.
Advise the supervisor about required repairs or extensive vehicle maintenance.
Maintain accurate inventory records, track warehouse inventory, conduct cycle counting, and optimize inventory utilization.
