About The Position

As a Medical Device Driver, you are responsible for distributing and delivering products and services for company representatives and customers. The role involves preparing, shipping, receiving, and scheduling deliveries; transporting merchandise; providing customer service; and maintaining the company delivery vehicle. It also includes tracking warehouse inventory and keeping accurate records of inventory, deliveries, pick-ups, and vehicle maintenance.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a good driving record and no restrictions.
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Warehouse or inventory control experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of relevant work experience.
Driver or courier experience in a customer-facing environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare, ship, receive, and schedule product deliveries, ensuring timely delivery and pick-up or return of loaner sets.
Address customer inquiries and direct them to appropriate branch personnel.
Arrange merchandise for transport and at customer locations, and read maps and route configurations to plan efficient deliveries.
Perform safety inspections in transportation settings and ensure materials are properly loaded, unloaded, and stacked.
Create or review delivery and pick-up lists, and record transactions and issues on customer receipts.
Provide customer service during transportation, handle customer complaints, and communicate with branch team members as needed.
Perform or schedule preventative and minor maintenance on the company delivery vehicle and maintain accurate records.
Advise the supervisor when vehicle repairs or extensive maintenance are required.
Maintain accurate inventory records, track warehouse inventory, conduct cycle counts, and optimize inventory utilization.
