Medical Device Assembler

About The Position
Volt is hiring a Medical Device Assembler in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This role produces high-quality medical devices in a manufacturing environment by assembling components, inspecting and testing products, troubleshooting and correcting defects, and packaging finished products with appropriate documentation. The position is a full-time contract opportunity on first shift, Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with overtime as needed.
Requirements
- Previous medical device assembly, small-parts assembly, and/or cleanroom experience is required.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed work instructions.
- Ability to perform quality inspections and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble medical devices and related components according to established procedures.
- Perform visual inspections and precision measurements on components and finished assemblies.
- Conduct functional testing using computerized test equipment.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and correct devices or components using appropriate tools.
- Package finished products and ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation.
- Follow standardized work instructions and procedures to complete routine production tasks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records and documentation.
- Support quality, safety, and compliance standards throughout the manufacturing process.
