About The Position

The Manufacturing Technician reports to the Manufacturing Manager and is responsible for electro-mechanical assembly operations in a regulated environment — executing production schedules, maintaining quality and regulatory standards, and supporting continuous process improvement. This role sits at the center of StemWave's ability to deliver shockwave therapy devices to patients who might otherwise face surgery or long-term medication — the work on the floor directly enables clinical outcomes. You'll operate with hands-on ownership across assembly, troubleshooting, documentation, and lean initiatives, contributing to a production team where accuracy and accountability matter. This role is a strong fit for someone who takes pride in precision, shows up as a team player, and wants their daily output to connect to something larger than a production quota.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent technical degree with 1-2 years minimal experience in electro-mechanical assembly environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic understanding of assembly processes and techniques.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and challenges.
  • Ability to assemble parts, properly position, align and fasten to assemblies and subassemblies using hand tools and/or power tools.
  • Ability to connect cables, tubes and wires according to basic written instructions.
  • Must possess a strong work ethic, effective oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer transaction skills desired
  • Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • IPC610 training is a strong plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform electro mechanical assembly operations in a regulated manufacturing environment helping meet production schedules to achieve revenue targets.
  • Recommend activities to promote continuous improvement and best practices.
  • Assist in basic troubleshooting of assembly processes and equipment under guidance of senior assemblers, supervisor, and engineers.
  • Follow instructions from engineers and assist in the implementation of prototypes or process changes.
  • Support Lean, Health and Safety Initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team lead and quality control personnel to address any issues.
  • Focus on quality and accuracy, ensure that all work assignments meet corporate quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain individual work area / equipment in a neat, orderly manner according to standards including proper disposal of packaging waste, proper storage and use of equipment and parts, and management of documentation needed to perform duties.
  • Serve as a strong team player supporting and assisting supervisor and colleagues when necessary.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Maintaining accurate records of assembly processes, including production reports, inventory levels, and quality control documentation
  • Initiate Non-Conforming Material (NCMR) when applicable.
  • Comply with safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for team members.
