Requirements

  • Strong understanding of CPT and ICD-9/10 codes.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Adept at examining medical records for completeness and accuracy.
  • High proficiency in data entry.
  • Exceptional ten-key skills by touch.
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities.
  • 2-3 years of experience in high level data entry.
  • 2-3 years of experience in medical terminology.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Texas workers' compensation claims.
  • Critical thinking skills to navigate complex billing scenarios.
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in medical terminology.
  • Proficient with ICD-10 and CPT codes.
  • Skilled in examining medical records for completeness and accuracy.
  • Expert Ten-key by touch / Typing 45 WPM.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Workers' compensation experience preferred.
  • Some college education preferred.
