Siouxland Community Health Center has an opening for a full-time Medical Customer Service Representative (approximately 40 hours per week). The successful candidate must be willing to work at all facilities as needed by management. This role requires solid experience and advanced knowledge in several key areas, including strong communication skills, previous successful work experience providing exceptional customer service, and experience in a medical clinic setting (strongly preferred). Proficiency in data entry, knowledge of health insurance, and bilingual Spanish skills are also highly desirable. The ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a stressful environment is crucial. The Medical Customer Service Representative will enthusiastically exhibit exceptional customer service skills, offer proactive suggestions for workflow improvements, and perform other duties as assigned. They will also be responsible for meeting collection standards for patient co-payments and completing new patient paperwork and check-in documentation, including updating GE Centricity.
