About The Position

Quest Diagnostics is hiring a part-time Medical Courier in Saint Cloud, Minnesota, to transport medical specimens and laboratory materials along a scheduled route. The courier helps ensure diagnostic materials reach their destinations safely, accurately, and on time, and communicates professionally with medical and laboratory staff. The role is mobile and independent, with a company-provided non-CDL vehicle and handheld scanning and routing tools. The schedule is Mondays from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Tuesdays from 2:45 PM to 11:00 PM, for 16 hours per week. Pay is $18.00–$19.50 per hour; shift differential may apply to some or all eligible hours. External applicants may be eligible for a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Motor Vehicle Record documentation showing no more than two moving violation convictions in the previous 36 months, and none in the most recent 12 months.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and reliable documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve on the road.
• Comfort using mobile devices or scanning tools.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and remain on the move for much of the shift.

Nice To Haves

• Prior medical, customer service, courier, or logistics experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick up, transport, and deliver medical specimens and laboratory materials on a scheduled route.
• Communicate professionally with doctors, nurses, and laboratory staff to ensure timely deliveries.
• Safely operate a company-provided non-CDL vehicle.
• Use handheld scanners, route software, and mobile apps to track deliveries.
• Ensure proper specimen handling, labeling, storage, and documentation.
• Comply with DOT, HIPAA, OSHA, and internal safety standards.
