About The Position

Airspace is seeking a motivated and reliable Medical Courier to execute time-critical deliveries of laboratory reports and specimens, pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, small equipment, and other items. The courier serves as Airspace’s representative on the ground, handling both scheduled routes and on-call deliveries in the Fredericksburg area.

Requirements

• Have a reliable, well-maintained SUV, minivan, or sedan that is model year 2015 or newer.
• Have a valid driver’s license, insurance, and vehicle registration.
• Have at least 1 year of experience in medical courier services, ideally with exposure to specimens and medical supplies.
• Be able to lift up to 50 lb.
• Be tech-savvy and have a smartphone and reliable internet.
• Demonstrate strong communication and reliability.

Nice To Haves

• Preferably be local to the Fredericksburg area.

Responsibilities

• Pick up, transport, and deliver specimens, supplies, reports, interoffice mail, and other items on scheduled routes and on an on-call basis.
• Follow defined courier routes and complete all stops without missed pick-ups.
• Inspect specimens for proper packaging, handling requirements, and labeling before transport.
• Comply with OSHA, DOT, and CAP requirements for biohazard specimen transport.
• Represent Airspace professionally when interacting with hospitals and healthcare staff.
