About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a part-time Courier to join its team in Holyoke, Massachusetts. The position is responsible for picking up, transporting, and delivering medical specimens, laboratory supplies, and reports while providing excellent service to clients. A company vehicle is provided for the route. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Requirements

• No education or experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Be punctual and demonstrate strong time-management skills.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Be able to problem-solve customer issues.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• One or more years of driver or courier experience.
• One or more years of customer service experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current or previous Labcorp experience.

Responsibilities

• Load all necessary supplies for daily pickups.
• Complete the daily pickup schedule in a timely manner.
• Deliver daily pickups to the branch at the end of the shift.
• Handle specimens and laboratory samples safely and efficiently.
• Safely operate a company vehicle and obey traffic laws.
• Use a handheld electronic device to manage daily pickups.
• Work with the dispatcher to handle additional pickups as needed.
• Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions as needed.
• Pick up, transport, and deliver medical specimens, laboratory supplies, and reports.
• Provide excellent service to clients.
