About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Bilingual Call Center Representative with a strong in healthcare to support a high-volume primary care environment. This role is responsible for managing inbound and outbound patient calls, verifying insurance and eligibility, coordinating with clinical staff, and delivering exceptional patient service.

Requirements

  • 1–2+ years of call center experience in a medical clinic, hospital, or healthcare environment
  • Proven ability to manage high call volume while maintaining professionalism and accuracy
  • Experience with insurance verification, eligibility, and scheduling workflows
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish (required)

  • Familiarity with healthcare systems, EMR/EHR platforms, or scheduling tools
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls (60–80+ calls per day) in a fast-paced primary care setting
  • Perform insurance verification and eligibility checks with accuracy and efficiency
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments based on patient and provider availability
  • Communicate effectively with providers and staff by taking and relaying detailed messages
  • Provide updates to patients on the status of authorizations and referrals
  • Deliver excellent customer service while managing calls averaging 2–10 minutes depending on complexity
  • Support front office operations by covering reception duties as needed
