About The Position

As a call center professional, you'll serve as a trusted resource for patients, helping them to navigate their care while delivering a seamless, compassionate experience with every interaction. We are seeking a dependable, friendly, and highly organized Call Center Professional to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you play an important role providing exceptional service and support. You will handle inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive experience for all callers. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a warm and compassionate approach. Fluency in English is required, and bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required to effectively support and serve our diverse patient population.

Requirements

  • Proficient in English; multilingual skills are required, Spanish preferred.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a medical office setting.
  • Ability to operate computerized systems efficiently for data entry and record management.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess situations and provide effective solutions.
  • Exceptional phone etiquette and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Athena EMR preferred

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Utilize medical terminology to assist clients in understanding their inquiries related to healthcare services.
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Analyze customer issues and provide timely resolutions or escalate as necessary.
  • Maintain a positive attitude while managing high call volumes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate proper phone etiquette to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve processes and share best practices.
