About The Position

Patient's Choice Laboratories is seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Customer Service Representative to join their team in Tempe, Arizona. This role serves as the critical face and voice of the company, supporting patients, healthcare providers, and clinical staff daily. Requirements

Associate's or Bachelor's Degree required.
Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience (call center experience is a major plus).
At least 1 year of experience using medical terminology.
Strong computer proficiency with the ability to type at least 40 WPM while actively speaking with a caller.
Exceptional organizational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to learn complex medical/laboratory information quickly.
A professional, empathetic, and resilient approach to problem-solving in a high-volume environment.

Nice To Haves

Previous laboratory, healthcare, or medical office experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact for incoming patient and provider inquiries, managing a high volume of inbound calls (averaging 100–170 calls/day).
Assist callers with laboratory-related questions, order statuses, specimen requirements, and general account support.
Navigate multiple software platforms and databases simultaneously to research and resolve customer concerns.
Accurately document all interactions and maintain detailed records within company systems.
Communicate effectively across internal departments and elevate complex issues to management when necessary.
Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all healthcare regulations (HIPAA) and company policies.
