Medical Assisting Instructor
About The Position
Lincoln Tech is seeking experienced Medical Assistants to work as Substitute Medical Assisting Instructors on an as-needed basis. The role involves teaching students using Lincoln Tech’s established, ACCSC-accredited curriculum and providing hands-on skills training in a fully equipped medical lab. Instructors help prepare students for the Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) exam offered by the American Medical Technologists (AMT), while encouraging student growth, professionalism, and accountability. No teaching experience is required; Lincoln Tech provides training, tools, and support for the transition to teaching.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Word, and Excel.
Nice To Haves
- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or CMA (AAMA) credential preferred.
- Teaching experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Teach Medical Assisting classes using Lincoln Tech’s well-established, ACCSC-accredited curricula.
- Provide hands-on Medical Assisting skills training in the medical lab.
- Prepare students to take the Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) exam offered by the American Medical Technologists (AMT).
- Instruct students about the importance of safety and compliance.
- Encourage student growth, professionalism, and accountability.
- Support students and communicate their progress.
- Lead motivating and engaging classes in a positive setting.
