Medical Assisting Instructor
About The Position
Lincoln Tech is seeking experienced Medical Assistants to teach and help prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals. The part-time instructor delivers Lincoln Tech’s established, ACCSC-accredited Medical Assisting curriculum, provides hands-on training in a fully equipped medical laboratory, and prepares students for healthcare careers, including the Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) exam through American Medical Technologists (AMT). Lincoln Tech provides comprehensive training and ongoing support for instructors, along with the tools and resources needed to deliver the curriculum and support students.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of Medical Assistant experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Word, and Excel.
Nice To Haves
- Current RMA, CMA (AAMA), or CCMA (NHA) certification preferred.
- Teaching or coaching experience is a plus.
- BLS Instructor certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Medical Assisting courses using Lincoln Tech's established, ACCSC-accredited curriculum.
- Provide hands-on skills training in the medical laboratory.
- Prepare students for the Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) exam through American Medical Technologists (AMT).
- Teach safety protocols and compliance standards.
- Foster student development, professionalism, and accountability.
- Monitor and communicate student progress effectively.
- Create an engaging, motivating classroom environment.
- Prepare students for successful healthcare careers.
