Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or Diploma.
• Certification: CCMA and/or CMA and/or RMA.
• At least three years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven.

Nice To Haves

• An associate degree is preferred.
• Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Teach Medical Assisting courses.
• Provide academic advising to students.
• Participate in department training, meetings, and graduation.
