Requirements

• Completion of a Dental Assistant program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or Diploma.
• Certification: DANB RHS and RDA and/or CDA
• At least three years of experience as a Dental Assistant working with patients providing fourhanded/sixhanded dentristry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven.

Nice To Haves

• An associate degree is preferred.
• Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach Dental Assisting courses.
• Provide academic advising to students.
• Participate in department training, meetings, and graduation.
