Requirements

• Completion of a Medical Assisting program resulting in a certificate of completion or a diploma.
• Certifications: CCMA and/or RMA and/or CMA.
• At least three years of experience as a patient-facing Medical Assisting in a clinical setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven.

Nice To Haves

• An associate degree is preferred but not required.
• Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach Medical Assisting courses.
• Provide academic advising to students.
• Participate in department training, meetings, and graduation.
