Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or Diploma.
- Certification: DANB RHS, RDA and/or CDA.
- At least three years of experience as a Dental Assistant chairside.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven.
Nice To Haves
- An associate degree is preferred but not required.
- Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred.
- Certification in expanded functions preferred.
- DANB certification a plus.
Responsibilities
- Teach Dental Assisting courses in class, online, and in the lab setting.
- Provide academic advising to students.
- Assist the program director.
- Participate in department training, meetings, and graduation.
