Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or Diploma
- Certification: CCMA and/or RMA and/or CMA
- At least three years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven
Nice To Haves
- An associate degree is preferred
- Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred
- Prior teaching experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Teach Medical Assisting courses
- Provide academic advising to students
- Assist the program director
- Participate in department training, meetings, and graduation
