Travel Dermatology Medical Assistant for IL and IN
About The Position
QualDerm Partners is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant for a float role supporting more than 15 clinic locations across Illinois and Indiana. The position requires regular travel between clinics and is not assigned to a single office. The successful candidate will be flexible, dependable, and able to adapt quickly to different teams and environments while supporting patient care and clinical operations in a fast-paced, multi-site setting. QualDerm Partners provides care in dermatology, skin cancer treatment, cosmetics, and plastic surgery. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. The compensation range is $19.50–$27.00 per hour; the final offer depends on skills, experience, location, and internal equity.
Requirements
- Must be comfortable traveling regularly between different clinic locations across Illinois and Indiana.
- Must be flexible, dependable, and able to adapt quickly to new teams and environments.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and documenting medical history.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, ensuring instruments and supplies are ready.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for analysis.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in the EHR system.
- Support clinical and administrative functions as needed across locations.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and proper skincare practices.
- Keep examination rooms clean, organized, and fully stocked.
