Medical Assistant - Renaissance NC
About The Position
The Medical Assistant works under the clinical supervision of a Physician or Advanced Practice Provider in a primary care practice. The role assists with the preparation and delivery of patient care as directed by providers and other licensed clinical personnel. Clinical duties must be performed consistently and skillfully in accordance with established clinical policies and procedures. The position is based at the Renaissance Neighborhood Clinic and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Cook Children’s is a Texas-only employer; employees must maintain their primary residence in Texas and maintain all licenses and credentials required for their position throughout employment.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Graduate of an accredited medical assistant school or hold a current medical assistant certification.
- Current CPR certification.
- Must maintain a primary residence in Texas throughout employment.
- Must maintain all licenses and credentials required for the position throughout employment.
Nice To Haves
- National certification preferred.
