About The Position

The Medical Assistant at BILH Primary Care assists in delivering high-quality, safe clinical care as part of a high-performing clinical team. The role works collaboratively with healthcare providers to support their daily needs and schedules, enhance patient satisfaction and provider efficiency, and ensure timely patient care. Duties include taking patients’ vital signs, documenting medical histories in the EMR system, and providing patients and families with medical information.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program, or hold a Medical Assistant certification (AAMA, CCMA, RMA, or NCMA), or have a minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Medical Assistant.
• Obtain and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Critical thinking and good judgment in performing tasks.
• Good organizational skills and ability to multitask.
