Requirements

Active Medical Assistant certification.
CNA or CMA

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of OSHA requirements and medical assistant/phlebotomist procedures.
Strong communication, decision-making, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

Provide Care Support patients by obtaining vital signs, conducting health assessments, performing TB testing, and collecting blood specimens.
Collect, process, and ship laboratory specimens accurately and safely to ensure timely, high-quality diagnostic testing.
Help patients stay engaged in care by coordinating exam scheduling, annual physicals, and preparing monthly testing lists that promote continuity of care.
Maintain laboratory supplies, equipment, and inventory to ensure clinicians have their needed resources.
Manage laboratory results and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation while safeguarding patient confidentiality and protected health information.
Foster a clean, organized, and sanitary environment that supports patient safety and quality care.
Collaborate with clinical team members by providing support and guidance on laboratory testing and patient care.
