About The Position
Pro Med Healthcare Services is seeking five Medical Assistants for a medical laboratory in Atlantis, Florida. The primary focus of the role is specimen handling, with phlebotomy knowledge and specimen handling and processing experience or education required. This is a full-time opportunity of 40 hours per week, with part-time candidates also considered. The opportunity may be temp-to-perm. Shifts are 8–10 hours, with operating hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Saturday. Candidates must be available for rotational Saturday scheduling. New graduates will be considered. Starting pay is $17.00–$18.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited medical assisting school.
- Phlebotomy knowledge.
- Experience or education in specimen handling and processing.
- Mandatory attention to detail.
- Availability for rotational Saturday scheduling.
Nice To Haves
- AHCA Level II background.
- Current BLS certification.
- Phlebotomy experience.
