Medical Assistants - Laboratory Specimen Handling - Open to New Graduates
About The Position
Pro Med Healthcare Services is seeking five Medical Assistants to work in a medical laboratory in Atlantis, Florida. The primary responsibility is specimen handling. Candidates should have phlebotomy knowledge and specimen-handling and processing experience or education. New graduates will be considered. These are full-time opportunities, with part-time candidates also considered. The schedule consists of eight-hour days, with operations between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Saturday. Candidates must be available for rotational Saturday scheduling. Starting pay is $17.00–$18.00 per hour. The positions offer a temp-to-perm opportunity.
Requirements
- Phlebotomy knowledge.
- Specimen-handling and processing experience or education.
- Graduate of an accredited medical assisting school.
- Current BLS certification.
- Attention to detail.
- Availability for rotational Saturday scheduling.
Nice To Haves
- AHCA Level II background.
