Join a fast-paced orthopaedic practice supporting UF Health Jacksonville's accredited Level I Trauma Center while serving patients across the full spectrum of orthopaedic subspecialties. From acute injuries and fracture care to sports medicine, hand, foot and ankle, and joint reconstruction, you'll gain valuable experience caring for a diverse patient population in a dynamic clinical environment. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Less than one year - Medical Assistant experience.
  • Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of ambulatory health care or related health care fields.
  • Skilled in conflict resolution.
  • Ability to use computers.
  • Current BLS from the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer one year Medical Assistant experience.
  • Employees hired on or after February 15, 2018 must be graduate from approved Medical Assistant program.
  • Employees hired on or after August 1, 2021, must obtain medical assistant certification within 6 months of date of hire/transfer into the position.
