About The Position

This is a Medical Assistant position located in Los Angeles, CA. The role requires a candidate with experience in an outpatient clinic setting, specifically in OBGYN. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for various clinical procedures and patient care tasks.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in an outpatient clinic setting.
• 1 year of experience in OBGYN.
• Medical Assistant Diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program.
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC only).
• Proficiency with blood/lab draws and venipuncture.
• Experience with PAP, Colpo, Leep, D&C, EMB, IUD insertions and removals, Nexplanon, and NST procedures.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform PAP, Colpo, Leep, D&C, EMB, IUD insertions and removals, Nexplanon, and NST procedures.
• Conduct blood and lab draws, including venipuncture.
• Provide patient care in an OBGYN setting.
• Float to Playa Vista OBGYN as needed.
