About The Position
This role is a Full-Time position in Family Practice at Taylor Crossing in Racine, WI. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday from 7:15 am to 5:00 pm. The Medical Assistant will assist physicians and nurses with patient examinations, treatments, and specialized clinical duties. They will also interview patients to record medical history and measure vital signs, prepare and sanitize treatment rooms, and manage clerical tasks such as phone correspondence, record maintenance, and filing.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and nurses with patient examinations, treatments, and specialized clinical duties.
- Interview patients to record medical history and accurately measure vital signs for charting.
- Prepare and sanitize treatment rooms while ensuring all medical supplies are ordered and stocked.
- Manage essential clerical tasks, including phone correspondence, record maintenance, and filing.
