About The Position
Freeman Recovery Center, LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant to assist medical and nursing staff in providing an excellent client experience.
Requirements
- CPR, First Aid/AED certification (provided by Freeman, if needed) required.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- CNA or MA certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist medical providers and nursing staff daily.
- Perform point of care testing.
- Record vital signs & assessment flow sheets.
- Maintain detailed records in EMR systems.
- Assisting with routine checks and diagnostic testing by collecting and processing specimens.
- Monitor supplies regularly and submit orders in a timely manner.
- Monitor patients in clinical care for current needs, adherence to policies & procedures, and clinical or medical related issues.
- Assist with observing medications as needed.
