About The Position
The Medical Assistant assists physicians with patient care and clinic clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks. The role includes appointment scheduling and chart management, providing patients with information to help them use and benefit from clinic services, and conveying a positive image of the organization.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience, for new hires effective April 2014.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current certification.
- At least one year of work experience in a public-contact job.
Nice To Haves
- Medical Assistant certification.
- Work experience in health care.
