About The Position

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Medical Office Assistant to join our upscale MedSpa! This position is full-time, 5 days a week (Monday-Friday) in our Huntersville location with some float to our Southpark office.

Requirements

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure.
Highly motivated, customer-service oriented person.

Nice To Haves

CMA, RMA, or CNA certification preferred.
2 or more years of clinical experience in a medspa, plastic surgery or dermatology office preferred.
Nextech EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Welcomes patients by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, answering or referring inquiries.
Prepares patients for the health care visit by directing and/or accompanying them to the examining room, providing examination gowns and drapes, helping them to position themselves for the examination and/or treatment, arranging examining room instruments, supplies, and equipment.
Verifies patient information by interviewing patient, reviewing and/or recording medical history, taking vital signs, confirming purpose of visit or treatment.
Assist medical providers during aesthetic procedures such as laser treatments, injectables, and skin care therapies.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up equipment, and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Conduct patient intake by recording medical histories, vital signs, and any relevant health information prior to treatments.
Educate patients on pre- and post-treatment care instructions to optimize treatment outcomes and ensure safety.
Manage inventory of medical and cosmetic supplies, placing orders as needed to maintain adequate stock levels.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation protocols within the MedSpa environment.
Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping patient care information confidential.
