About The Position

Chino Hill Crossroads Urgent Care is seeking a Medical Assistant/Receptionist to join their team. This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week, working 8-hour shifts that vary between 7:45 AM - 4:45 PM, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, or 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM. Weekends are included. The role requires a Medical Assistant Certification and AHA BLS certification. Candidates must have 6 months to 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant and Receptionist, with experience in both front and back office duties. Proficiency in Electronic EMR, basic computer and phone skills, and experience with pediatric and adult patients are necessary. Urgent care experience is preferred. The ideal candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, possess strong work ethics, and be a team player.

Requirements

• MA Cert
• AHA BLS
• 6 months to 1 year as a MA and Receptionist
• Medical Assistant Exp.
• Electronic EMR
• Basic Computer and Phone Skills
• Peds-Adults
• Must be able to work at a fast pace
• Must be a good communicator with strong work ethics and team player

Nice To Haves

• Urgent Care experience preferred
• Front and Back office experience

Responsibilities

• Front Office: Registration, Appointment scheduling, answering phones, sending Faxes, verifying insurance.
• Back Office: Work with Urgent Care providers - taking Vitals, rooming patients, giving injections, wound care, setting up for minor procedures.
