About The Position

This role is for a Medical Assistant at an Orthopedic clinic that provides comprehensive care for injuries and conditions of the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, foot, and ankle, as well as emergency orthopedic care. The Medical Assistant may be exposed to casting, splinting, and bracing of patient injuries. The position is a 13-week contract and is open to both travelers and local candidates. The primary work location is Tarzana, with the expectation to cover the Mission Hills location if needed due to call-outs.

Requirements

• Prior Orthopedic experience required.
• 2 Years of experience.
• BLS certification required.

Nice To Haves

• Outpatient experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive orthopedic care (diagnosis and treatment) pertaining to injuries and conditions of the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, foot and ankle, and emergency orthopedic care.
• Assist with casting, splinting, and bracing of patient injuries.
• Float between clinic locations (Tarzana and Mission Hills) as needed for call-outs.
